Tourist Visa Documents Checklist

• Original Passport with a validity at least six (06) months.
• Two (02) copies of Visa Application Forms, dully and fully completed, typed online, and signed. Original signature is required on each page.
• Two (02) recent passport size photographs.
• Copy of confirmed hotel reservation and copy of airfare ticket showing dates of entry and exit.
• Copy of valid travel insurance as per below requirement, Single Entry (1 to 30 Days): Minimum 1-month valid Insurance.
• Guarantee of sufficient funds for the visit (bank statement of six (06) months).

 

NOTE: Applicants applying for Algeria Tourist Visa must need to apply for Single Entry VISA only.

Business Documents Checklist

• Original Passport with a validity at least six (06) months.

• Two (02) recent passport size photographs.
• Original invitation letter from Algerian company which should be submitted in hard copy, attested by the Algerian Chamber of Commerce.
• Copy of confirmed hotel reservation and copy of airfare ticket showing dates of entry and exit.
• Copy of valid travel insurance as per below requirement.

1. Single Entry (1 to 30 Days): Minimum 1-month valid Insurance
2. Multiple Entry (1 to 90 Days): Minimum 3 months valid Insurance.
3. Multiple Entry (1 to 180 Days): Minimum 6 months valid Insurance.
4. Multiple Entry (Upto 1 Year): Minimum 1 Year valid Insurance.

• Letter of responsibility typewritten on the company letterhead is required and must be addressed to: Embassy of Algeria, Visa Section, B-6, Anand Niketan, New Delhi, 110021, India.
• The letter must explain all of the following –

1. Nature of business to be performed.
2. Name and address of reference to be visited in Algeria
3. The letter should be signed by an officer of the company other than the applicant.

Family Visa Documents Checklist

1. Original Passport with a validity at least six (06) months.
2. Two (02) copies of Visa Application Forms, dully and fully completed, typed online, and signed. Original signature is required on each page.
3. Two (02) recent passport size photographs.
4. Copy of confirmed hotel reservation and copy of airfare ticket showing dates of entry and exit.
5. Copy of valid travel insurance as per below requirement.
   • Single Entry (1 to 30 Days): Minimum 1-month valid Insurance
   • Multiple Entry (1 to 90 Days): Minimum 3 months valid Insurance.
   • Multiple Entry (1 to 180 Days): Minimum 6 months valid Insurance.
   • Multiple Entry (Upto 1 Year): Minimum 1 Year valid Insurance.
6. If the Algerian spouse is not registered at the Embassy, a document attesting the relationship is required (such as a copy of the marriage certificate).
7. If the applicant is the family of an Indian employee working in Algeria, copy of family register, work permit and valid residence certificate are required.
8. Accommodation certificate duly attested by the local Algerian authorities.

Temporary Work Visa Documents Checklist

1. Original Passport with a validity at least six (06) months.
2. Two (02) copies of Visa Application Forms, dully and fully completed, typed online, and signed. Original signature is required on each page.
3. Two (02) recent passport size photographs.
4. Copy of valid travel insurance as per below requirement.
   • Single Entry (1 to 30 Days): Minimum 1-month valid Insurance
   • Multiple Entry (1 to 90 Days): Minimum 3 months valid Insurance.
   • Multiple Entry (1 to 180 Days): Minimum 6 months valid Insurance.
   • Multiple Entry (Upto 1 Year): Minimum 1 Year valid Insurance.
5. Employment contract which does not exceed 90 days, signed by the employer in Algeria.
6. Attestation of repatriation signed by the employer and attested by the Labour office of the wilaya where the applicant will be working.
7. Temporary work permit delivered by the Ministry of Labour, Department of Labour of the wilaya where the employer is based.
